Canon PowerShot S95 Digital Camera
Today we know that the 'point-and-shoot' camera, also called 'compact' cameras, is of the most common types of digital camera. The point-and-shoot camera is ideal for casual photographers who like to always have a camera handy. Here on this website, we strongly recommend this best point and shoot digital camera –Canon PowerShot S95 digital camera for you. Let’s move to more details of this awesome product. Updated to last year’s S90The Canon PowerShot S95, is an extremely popular, critically acclaimed digital camera that delivered superb image quality and full manual controls in a compact package. The S95 is an ideal choice for advanced photographers seeking a compact companion for their dSLR – or those seeking the advantages of a dSLR in a less bulky form. While it’s small enough to fit in a pocket, this camera packs terrific photo quality, a bright f/2.0 wide-angle lens with 3.8x optical zoom, and full manual shooting controls. A control ring around the lens makes Canon PowerShot S95 digital camera quick and easy to change settings such as shutter speed, aperture, or ISO, as well as use zoom and manual focus. Image quality is excellent with great sharpness and accurate color in nearly all lighting conditions, far surpassing that of most compacts on the market. Low-light shooting is particular impressive for a camera this size, and photos remain clean even at higher ISO settings. Both JPEG and RAW shooting modes are offered; while JPEG photos will be suitable for most, some photographers will prefer shooting in RAW to avoid compression. Performance can be a bit sluggish at times and battery life is not as good as the competition, but those issues should not be deal-breakers for most.

All in all, if you peruse in the speed , this awesome Canon PowerShot S95 digital camera is your best choice.

Today Nikon Canada introduced the COOLPIX S6500, equipped with a wide-angle, high-power zoom and built-in Wi-Fi capability, and the S2700, built with a wide-angle zoom and advanced image-editing functions and basic performance.

Here comes some of the key features of the Nikon COOLPIX S6500 :
- 16.1-megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor
- 12x optical zoom-NIKKOR lens covering a broad range of angles of view from wide-angle 25mm to 300mm
- Built-in Wi-Fi capability
- Eight Glamour Retouch effects including five new effects (Brighten Faces, Hide Eye Bags, Whiten Eyes, Whiten Teeth, and Redden Cheeks)
- Full HD (1080p) movie recording

We say it new because it comes with Wi-Fi. The built-in wireless allows you to directly connect to an Android or iOS device and transfer photos and movies to them using Nikon's Wireless Mobile Utility app. The app can also be used to remotely control the camera from more than 30 feet away.

In addition, the camera's other features include a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor for potentially fast performance and improved low-light photos and a 12x f3.1-6.5 25-300mm lens with optical image stabilization.

Its shooting options seem to be pretty much the same as you'd find on the S6400, though Nikon's added five new beauty retouch options for things like whitening eyes and teeth and reducing dark circles under eyes. Plus, you can now pause movie recordings while you're shooting, so you don't end up with a bunch of short clips or a long one with a lot of stuff you don't want.

Attention! The Nikon Coolpix S6500 will be in stores by the end of January for $199.95. What a great price. You should never miss it.

iT7 Audio is the brainchild of former Premier League footballer Ian Taylor (you may remember him regularly arriving in both boxes with perfect timing, wearing the colours of Aston Villa, Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday, after starting out at Port Vale). The iT7x are noise-isolating Bluetooth over-ear headphones put together by Bluechip. The iT7x headset isn't cheap, but it does offer a superior quality of build and audio to your average me-too headset, with a healthy feature set. And these headphones offer a certain style - it won't be to everyone's taste but the iT7x's stylings are guaranteed to attract attention. For the right reasons, too: despite blasting our ears with all manner of loud music none of my colleagues could hear any sound leekage. With both Bluetooth and wired connectivity you can use the iT7x with your smartphone, as well as an MP3 player or tablet review.

iT7x: in use, battery life Pairing the iT7x via Bluetooth is a cinch, the process of holding down the power button puts the iT7x headset into pairing mode, from which your phone, tablet or other audio device can find it. In our tests we never once lost connection. The on-ear controls are well-placed and fairly easy with which to get to grips review.

The iT7x charges via a supplied USB cable, taking around two and a half hours for the first charge, in our tests. You're promised five hours of talk time or 70 hours on standby, and a red light flashed to let you know when the headphones are running out of juice.

Best cheap digital cameras reviews 2012 is going to talk about how Samsung considers Android-based digital camera. One interesting bit of discussion: Samsung is considering an "open" camera operating system. It's still early days and nothing is confirmed but, given the company's support for Android on other platforms, that OS would be a logical choice. What we know is that Samsung R&D has been researching bringing Android to its digital cameras -- a move that would be far from shocking, considering that development teams do tend to collaborate, and the company clearly has experience with the Google OS. And while there are likely to be such open OS prototypes buried deep within Sammy HQ, they're mere experiments at this point -- at least from a production perspective. This is about the best cheap digital cameras reviews 2012.

A capacitive touchscreen would let you type in comments directly as well. You could publish to web-based services, utilize apps that enable post-capture creativity or receive firmware updates directly over WiFi. That hotshoe or USB port could accommodate a variety of different accessories, like a microphone or 4G modem that could be used with several models, including those from other manufacturers. While there's nothing making Android integration impossible from a technical standpoint, there are obvious disadvantages as well -- especially for camera makers. This is about the best cheap digital cameras reviews 2012.

Stability would become an issue -- your camera could need a reboot just as often as your smartphone -- and such a powerful imaging device could theoretically cannibalize tablets and smartphones, though on a limited scale. Sadly this is merely educated speculation at this point, pending a product announcement from Samsung, though we wouldn't be surprised to see it come to fruition -- perhaps even before the next CES. Canon PowerShot S95
With the Canon PowerShot S95, you can do that and still expect the high quality you’ve always expected from Canon’s line of compact digital cameras. Considering Canon’s latest quality innovation, the HS system coupled with Hybrid Image Stabilization and a f2.0 lens, you won’t need to lug a tripod around for candid indoor shots or worry about blurry images due to a long shutter time on hand held shots. For shots when you do want flash, the Canon PowerShot S95 offers Smart Flash exposure control to provide just the right amount of flash without blowing out brightly lit areas.

Taking photos of family and friends without the aid of a flash is one way of getting unique and unposed shots that usually end up as the favorite image from any event.

Thanks to the improved sensitivity of the 10mp imaging sensor along with the renowned Digic 4 processor (the HS system) you can even use an ISO as high as 3200 without losing image quality. Switch to low light mode and expect to go as high as 12,800 ISO while creating smaller (2.5mp) images. And for those who like to be creative in different situations, the Canon PowerShot S95 is fully manual.

Slim, light and built for easy handling, the Canon PowerShot S95 features Smart Auto, a function that determines the best settings for whatever situation you happen to be in. And thanks to Scene Detection Technology, you even get tips on the 3.0” PureColor II G LCD screen guiding you on why to use certain settings for certain scenes. For the experienced photographer, use the manual control ring located around the lens for quick changes anytime the scene changes. There is even a shortcut button on the back of the camera that allows you to choose pre-set settings that you program ahead of time. A real advantage when you want to have fun without worrying about which camera settings to use.

Another great feature that helps you get the shot you envisioned is the High Dynamic Range shooting mode. Since the human eye sees light differently than anything engineers have been able to create, the Canon PowerShot S95 takes 3 quick shots in succession and combines them to accent the highlights and contrasts of a certain scene and merge them into one image that exceeds the quality of conventional cameras.

When it’s time to switch to HD video, expect 720p, 24fps movie recording with high quality stereo sound, an HDMI port and CEC compatibility.

Lightweight, stylish and built to give you the highest quality images available today, the Canon PowerShot S95 is the perfect camera amateurs and professionals alike can take anywhere and return with their new favorite shots.

When flash is what you want to achieve a desired outcome, add Canon’s high power flash attachment.

Comparison with Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5 These two cameras have a lot of similarities so the choice may be difficult between the two unless brand loyalty is a deciding factor. Both Canon and Panasonic listen to their customers and make changes to accommodate their desires and have created two cameras that are cutting edge in both design and technology. If wide angle shooting is important to you, the LX5 beats the Canon PowerShot S95.

Pros
  •   +Low light lens
  • +High dynamic range
  • +Low light mode
  • +Control ring

Cons
  • -No auto focus during video
  • -Pop up flash might get in the way

1.Good quality with a good price. You can take up to 400 photos without recharging.I would have paid more for this camera. It is very good for price. Can not find weaknesses.

2.This is a very useful camera for a amateur photographer. Built quality is OK for this price. Low weight. Battery life is very acceptable. If you need to take photos not professionals this is the perfect camera, very quality images. Has microphone and speaker. But Mine came with the AC charger broken, but you can always charge it using USB connector on PC.
12 Mpx interpolated. CMOS is 5Mpx, but is OK for this price. You can't turn off the speaker, so you are always hearing sound when you press any button, and this is a little bit annoying

You may hearing many people around you talking about digital SLR when they are holding a camera .But do you know what digital SLR is ? Today ,we will draw our attention on it .

SLR is the abbreviation of single lens reflex .Digital SLR is a form of a digital camera. Digital SLR's are often used by professionals and by photo enthusiasts. On average the cameras are much more expensive than the standard digital camera, as well as a little more challenging to get used too. For the higher price tag you do get more versatility, Digital SLR's feature interchangeable lenses and offer you more control over how your photos will look.

Now you may know what a digital SLR is ,then the work principle of it is simple:

1.    For viewing purposes, the mirror reflects the light coming through the attached lens upwards at a 90 degree angle.

2.    It is then reflected twice by the pentaprism, rectifying it for the photographer's eye.

3.    During exposure, the mirror assembly swings upward, the aperture narrows (if stopped down, or set smaller than wide open), and a shutter opens, allowing the lens to project light onto the image sensor.

4.    A second shutter then covers the sensor, ending the exposure, and the mirror lowers while the shutter resets.

5.    The period that the mirror is flipped up is referred to as "viewfinder blackout".

6.    A fast-acting mirror and shutter is preferred so as to not delay an action photo.

This is a simple answer for what a digital SLR is and how a digital SLR works ,somehow ,may it be helpful for you .
